Online Couples Therapy in Colorado

Create Healthier Relationships. Build Deeper Connection.

Relationships can be one of the most meaningful parts of our lives, but they can also bring some of our deepest challenges. Maybe you find yourselves having the same arguments over and over, struggling to communicate, or feeling more like roommates than partners. Perhaps trust has been broken, emotional intimacy has faded, or you're navigating a life transition that has created distance between you.

You may love each other and still find yourselves feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

You don't have to keep having the same conversations without finding a resolution.

At Springs Psychotherapy, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for couples to better understand one another, work through challenges, and develop healthier ways of relating. Together, we'll explore the patterns contributing to disconnection while building the communication, understanding, and emotional connection needed to create a more fulfilling relationship.

When Your Relationship Feels Stuck

Sometimes couples reach a point where they know something needs to change but aren't sure how to get there. You may recognize some of these experiences in your relationship:

  • Having the same arguments without reaching a resolution

  • Feeling unheard, misunderstood, or emotionally disconnected

  • Difficulty communicating needs, feelings, or expectations

  • Struggling with trust, jealousy, or past hurts

  • Feeling like one partner is pursuing connection while the other withdraws

  • Navigating differences in intimacy, affection, or sexual connection

  • Experiencing challenges around parenting, finances, or major life transitions

  • Wanting to strengthen your relationship before problems become more significant

Whether you're working through a specific challenge or simply wanting to deepen your connection, couples therapy can help you approach your relationship with greater awareness and intention.

What We Can Work On Together

Couples therapy isn't about deciding who is right or wrong. It's about understanding the dynamics between you and learning how to create something healthier together.

Some areas we may explore include:

Communication and Conflict: Learn to express yourselves more effectively, listen with greater understanding, and navigate disagreements without becoming caught in the same cycles.

Emotional Connection and Intimacy: Rebuild emotional closeness, strengthen vulnerability, and create opportunities to feel more connected and understood.

Trust and Relationship Repair: Address past hurts, explore what rebuilding trust looks like, and develop a foundation for moving forward.

Understanding Relationship Patterns: Identify how past experiences, attachment needs, and protective responses influence the way you interact with one another.

Boundaries and Individual Needs: Learn how to honor your individual needs while creating a relationship that feels supportive, balanced, and mutually fulfilling.

Navigating Life Transitions: Work through changes involving parenting, family dynamics, career, intimacy, or other experiences that affect your relationship.

A Warm, Collaborative Approach to Couples Therapy

I believe healthier relationships begin with a willingness to understand ourselves and one another. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, recognizing that each partner brings their own experiences, needs, and relationship history into the partnership.

Together, we'll explore the patterns and dynamics that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection. Drawing from attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, and other therapeutic tools, we'll work toward greater emotional awareness, healthier communication, and a deeper understanding of one another.

My goal isn't to take sides or assign blame. It's to help both partners feel heard, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and develop new ways of relating that support a healthier relationship.

I welcome couples of diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, including LGBTQIA+ and consensually nonmonogamous partnerships.

What to Expect When Starting Couples Therapy

Beginning couples therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you've been struggling for a while. You don't need to have everything figured out before getting started.

Our work will begin with understanding what brings you to therapy, what each of you hopes to change, and what you want your relationship to look and feel like moving forward.

From there, we'll work together to identify recurring patterns, explore underlying needs, and develop practical ways to communicate and navigate challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process, and both partners will have space to share their experiences and perspectives.

Your Relationship Deserves Care and Intention

You don't have to wait until your relationship is at a breaking point to seek support. Whether you're trying to repair what's been hurt, reconnect after a period of distance, or simply create a stronger foundation for your future, couples therapy can help you move forward with greater understanding and intention.

A healthier relationship doesn't mean never having disagreements. It means learning how to navigate them while continuing to care for and understand one another.

I'd be honored to support you in that process.
